Pete Nani, CEO, ZIPS Car Wash, presents to Folds of Honor ZIPS' record donation of $170,000 at yesterday's Flag Raising Ceremony at ZIPS Car Wash in Frisco, TX.

“We are so grateful to ZIPS Car Wash and its patriotic patrons for supporting our deserving recipients,” said Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, founder and CEO of Folds of Honor. “The round-up program that they did shattered the previous amount demonstrating the company’s and its customers commitment to educating the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. This selfless generosity will make a life-changing difference.”

ZIPS has celebrated military and first responder families across the nation this year as they’ve unveiled 35 remodeled locations and re-opened with ribbon cutting events honoring Folds of Honor families. ZIPS recognized two Folds of Honor scholarship recipients yesterday, Annabelle and Abigail Richardson, along with their father, US Army National Guard William Leroy Hansen at the event.

Pete Nani, CEO, ZIPS Car Wash commented on how honoring our military and their sacrifice has been a priority for ZIPS – helping to support academic scholarships and giving a free car wash on Veterans Day are small ways that we can show our appreciation of their sacrifice. “We exceeded our own goal by hosting ‘Patriot Weekend’ across all our locations from September 11th – 14th, where we gave a portion of every car wash purchase to Folds of Honor. Between those efforts and our celebrations at our remodeled locations this year, we’re proud to give $170,000 to support academic success for military and first responder families,” he added.

ZIPS will honor all servicemen and women next Tuesday, November 11th with a free top car wash for Veterans at all 215+ locations. Veterans and Active Military should use code VETS at checkout to receive their free car wash next week at all ZIPS Car Wash, Jet Brite Car Wash and Rocket Express Car Wash locations.
