A family fighting to reunite and restore their lives appeals directly to President Trump for clemency and a chance at justice.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL, November 21, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A bold, large-scale billboard was installed this week on Highway 98 between the Palm Beach International Airport and Mar-a-Lago, issuing a direct and urgent plea to President Donald Trump from the Mazzei family. The billboard highlights what the family describes as a weaponized prosecution and directs viewers to SaveMazzei.com, calling for clemency and compassion.
"We placed this billboard because we pray President Trump will help right this injustice for a family that has supported and admired him for decades," said Mazzei. "Our lives were shattered by what we believe was a politically driven effort to shut down our TV series, which exposed organized crime and government corruption in Hawaii. There were no victim and no fraudulent intent — yet we faced extreme charges, threats of decades in prison, and what we were told as unconstitutional, coercive plea tactics. We are asking President Trump to look at the facts, review our evidence of prosecutor misconduct, and help save our family."
The Mazzeis say their case stems from a pandemic-era entertainment project funded through the PPP program. They assert that they followed the loan originator's guidance, including it was okay to use payroll projections, but were still targeted aggressively. Before charges were ever filed, federal authorities seized the family's assets, which the Mazzeis believe was intended to bankrupt them and force pleas. They further can prove that the prosecutor made false representations in court and that the District of Hawaii took actions that ultimately forced the foreclosure of their family home purchased in 2017 with a substantial amount of equity. According to a family friend who is a mortgage broker, agents then attempted to buy the home at auction using the very funds taken from them.
The Mazzeis maintain that the sentencing in their case was disproportionately harsh and applied primarily for deterrence, making an example of their family, based on court transcripts.
The family's renewed national awareness campaign includes several elements:
• A strategically placed billboard on the route between Palm Beach International Airport and Mar-a-Lago.
• Streaming video ads and outreach across X and Truth Social aimed at reaching President Trump, his supporters and independent media.
• Public and private support and attention from justice-reform advocates including Roger Stone and Rod Blagojevich, both of whom The Mazzeis are grateful for, are familiar with prosecutorial overreach.
• A July submission of their full clemency packet to Alice Marie Johnson pardon czar White House email, is now reviewing their materials.
"We're not celebrities, and we don't have major political connections, so we have to think outside the box to be seen — we're everyday Small Business Americans who believe in President Trump," Mazzei added. "This billboard isn't just a sign; it's a lifeline. President Trump, we're here. Please help us give our children the best Christmas gift possible by bringing Erin home so we can heal and put these past 5 years of hell behind us."
