CHICAGO, IL, January 30, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacob Bloom, MD, has been named a 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor, the seventh year he has received the esteemed honor. Only about 7 percent of the nation's licensed physicians are chosen annually as Castle Connolly Top Doctors in their regions for their specialties.
Dr. Bloom is with Bloom Plastic Surgery, the Chicago practice he founded in 2016. He is a Northbrook native and a graduate of Glenbrook North High School.
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Bloom performs a broad range of advanced cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the breast, body, and face for both women and men.

He regularly performs breast augmentation, mastopexy (breast lift), breast reductions; body contouring; abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), "mommy makeovers," gynecomastia, brachioplasty (arm lifts), rhinoplasty (nose job), facelifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), and reconstructive procedures, including post-Mohs surgery for those navigating skin cancer.

Dr. Bloom earned his medical degree at Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed four years of residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard.
He also holds a bachelor's degree in biopsychology from the University of Michigan.
