She completed an ophthalmology residency at George Washington University School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals — serving as chief resident during her final year — followed by a two-year ASOPRS/Oculofacial Society fellowship in orbital and oculofacial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
