ITEM 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition. *
On December 21, 2006, Ennis, Inc. issued a press release announcing its financial results for
the three and nine months ended November 30, 2006 and declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of
15 1/2 per share payable to shareholders of record as of January 15, 2007. A copy of the press
release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
