     On October 28, 2011, MetLife, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Beth Hirschhorn has been named executive vice president of global brand, marketing and communications, effective November 1, 2011.      On October 31, 2011, MetLife, Inc. issued a press release in which its board of directors announced that Steven A. Kandarian will succeed C.
