On January 4, 2011, Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its subsidiary, Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, withdrew its application to provide property and casualty insurance in New York State.  The announcement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this report, is incorporated herein by reference.
