Item 8.01 Other Events.

As previously reported, Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (the "Company") and its Canadian subsidiary, ACS Public Sector Solutions, Inc., had received a summons issued February 15, 2006 by the Alberta Department of Justice requiring the Company and its subsidiary to answer a charge of a violation of a Canadian Federal law which prohibits giving, offering or agreeing to give or offer any reward, advantage or benefit as consideration for receiving any favor in connection with a business relationship. The alleged violation related to the Canadian subsidiary’s photo enforcement services contract with the City of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

On October 31, 2006 legal counsel to the Alberta government (the "Crown") withdrew the charge against the Company. The Crown agreed with the Company’s position that the Company is not subject to the jurisdiction of the Alberta Provincial Court because the Company is not a resident of Canada and does not carry on business in Canada. The Crown’s charge against the Canadian subsidiary has not been withdrawn and a preliminary hearing on this matter has been scheduled for September 2007.
