ITEM 5.07 Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders

On May 4, 2013, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (the “Company”) held its annual meeting of shareholders. The agenda items for the meeting are shown below along with the vote of Company’s Class A and Class B common stock voting together as a single class, with respect to each of the agenda items. There were two agenda items acted on at that meeting as follows: 1) Election of Directors; and 2) a shareholder proposal with respect to establishing reasonable, quantitative goals for reduction of greenhouse gas and other air emissions at Berkshire’s energy-generating holdings; and requesting that Berkshire publish a report to shareholders on how it will achieve such goals. Berkshire’s shareholders reelected all of Berkshire’s directors and elected one new director in an uncontested election. Following are the votes cast for and against each director.
