ANNOUNCEMENT

The Board is pleased to disclose the operational statistics of the Group for the month of April 2012.

The board of directors (the “Board”) of China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Company”) is pleased to disclose the operational statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively the “Group”) for the month of April 2012.

Operational statistics for the month of April 2012 are as follows:

   160.968 million

Net Additions of 2G Service Subscribers

   0.341 million

Aggregate Number of 3G Service Subscribers

   51.778 million

Net Additions of 3G Service Subscribers

WIRELINE BUSINESS:

  

Aggregate Number of Local Access Subscribers

   92.343 million

Net Additions of Local Access Subscribers

   (0.011) million

Aggregate Number of Broadband Subscribers

   58.873 million

Net Additions of Broadband Subscribers

1 All the Aggregate Numbers recorded for the month of April 2012 are aggregate data reported at 24:00 on 30 April 2012.

 

2 The accounting period of all Net Additions for the month of April 2012 is the period commencing from 0:00 on 1 April 2012 to 24:00 on 30 April 2012.

 

3 Net Additions of 3G Service Subscribers include 0.1526 million 3G Data Card Subscribers.
