Attached is an English translation of the summary of the letter dated March 10, 2008 filed by the Company with the Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires and the Comisión Nacional de Valores.
By letter dated March 10, 2008, the Company reported that it acquired 860,000 shares of Brasilagro (BOVESPA ticker: BRAG) at R$10.80 (approximately US$5.5 million), amounting to 1.47% of Brasilagro’s total capital stock.
After this acquisition, the Company’s interest in Brasilagro is 9.72%.
Moreover, the Company remarked that this acquisition is consistent with the strategy that the Board of Directors has projected in order to strengthen the Company’s international presence in the region.
