Explanatory Note: This Amendment on Form 8-K (the "Form 8-K/A") is being furnished solely to correct a technical filing error made when the Registrant's Current Report on Form 8-K was furnished with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 20, 2015 (the “Original Filing”). The submission header of the Original Filing was tagged as an Item 9.01 filing. The submission header of the Original Filing should have been tagged as an Items 2.02 and 9.01 filing. This Form 8-K/A makes no changes to the Original Filing other than to correct the tagged item numbers in the submission header of the Original Filing.

On March 19, 2015, Gold Resource Corporation issued a news release reporting its financial results for the period ended December 31, 2014. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
