A press release was issued on July 30, 2009 announcing that US Banker magazine ranked TrustCo as the fourth best performing bank in the United States of all banks with assets of $2 billion to $10 billion.  TrustCo has ranked in the top ten of this report for five consecutive years.  Attached is a copy labeled as Exhibit 99(a).
