The Board of Directors of Comerica Incorporated (“Comerica”) appointed Jacqueline P. Kane and Ximena G. Humrichouse (professionally known as Nina Vaca) to serve on its Board of Directors, effective September 23, 2008.  Effective with Ms. Kane’s appointment, she became a member of Comerica’s Governance, Compensation and Nominating Committee.  Effective with Ms. Vaca’s appointment, she became a member of Comerica’s Enterprise Risk Committee.  On September 24, 2008, Comerica issued a press release regarding these appointments. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
